Meet Jimmy Potters

Jimmy Potters Studio & Workshop was founded with a simple belief: every child is an artist. We saw too many kids glued to screens and missing out on the tactile, messy, wonderful experience of making something with their hands. So we decided to bring the pottery studio to them.

Today, we travel to elementary schools and community centers across the DMV area, delivering mobile pottery enrichment workshops that go way beyond the ordinary pinch-pot class. Our programs blend hands-on clay techniques with cultural education, teaching kids not just how to shape clay — but the rich history and traditions behind the art form.

We believe that when a child sculpts a mushroom fairy house or shapes a detailed animal figure, they're doing more than making art. They're building fine motor skills, learning patience, discovering self-expression, and connecting to something bigger than a screen.
